Freon in Your Home's A/C being phased Out!

Your Home’s A/C May Be Obsolete At Year’s End!

- National Program Helps us get up to $2095 for our Old, Freon Systems

By Jim Wilson

As recently publicized by USA Today, it is a little known, and a somewhat inconvenient fact that Home Central A/C’s using R-22 (most commonly know as ‘FREON’) will no longer be made after December 31st, of this year! Replacement A/C’s use R410A, a more efficient, environmentally sound refrigerant than the Old Freon. R410A has actually been used in Home A/C’s since 1996, but has only penetrated a small portion of the market because of a lack of urgency, until now.

This step is a Federally mandated requirement originally set in motion by the Clean Air Act of 1992. You may even remember when this happened with our cars in 1992. However, unlike our cars, current central A/C cannot use R410A because it is compressed at a much higher pressure and requires different equipment.

This now leaves the majority of homeowners in the U.S. sitting on Obsolete, ‘Old Freon’ systems to cool their home.

As a result, One Hour Air Conditioning, one of North America’s leaders and Experts in Home Service, have put together an exclusive ‘National Comfort Compliance’ (NCC) Program to help homeowners replace their soon-to-be ‘Obsolete’ FREON systems. This program takes advantage of three (3) separate, little known programs to help minimize the investment impact of installing a Compliant Central A/C system before the Federal Deadline of January 1, 2010:

#1 - A $1500 Federal Tax rebate has been made available for qualifying systems* being installed, many of which qualify under the NCC Program.

#2 - $595 NCC Cash Trade-in on old Freon systems toward the new Compliant A/C

#3 - A special NCC Home Improvement line of credit with America’s #1 retail financer: NO MONEY DOWN along with either 12 months no interest OR low 6.9% APR options on Compliant systems

What To Do Next

Smart Homeowners all over the nation are calling One Hour Air Conditioning to take advantage of their exclusive National Comfort Compliance (NCC) Program before the deadline. The Baton Rouge area One Hour should be reached at 225-752-0001. They can schedule for a Technician to come out and perform a FREE Compliance, and Energy analysis. At that time they will be able to share all program details and the investment on a compliant system that meets your needs and budget, one of your choosing.

Do not wait until next summer when your system breaks down at the most inconvenient time, and you will virtually be required to be compliant, with little or no incentives. Call One Hour A/C at 225-752-0001 today. The NCC Trade-in portion of $595, which comes out of One Hour’s pocket, is limited to the first 120 compliant system installations. Also, The current deadline for the NCC program is December 31st, 2009, which coincides with the National Phase out. Call One Hour Air Conditioning today at 225-752-0001.
